Her love for creative projects started at a young age and led her to receive a degree in Fashion Merchandising from UT Martin in 2003. Her career path transitioned from pursuing a role as an assistant buyer in the corporate world to returning to school for Interior Design. In 2005, she quickly realized her West Tennessee roots would be following her to Middle Tennessee to continue her education at O'More College of Design in Franklin, TN.

For the past 12 years, she has worked for two residential firms and pursued her own freelance opportunities in Nashville, TN. As of 2020, she is spreading her wings and launching her own business, called Grove Design.
